College Board – PSAT/SAT

The College Board is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success. It develops and administers standardized tests, most notably the SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) program, alongside tools like BigFuture for college planning.

CEIA is an official College Board Test Center for the SAT exam taken in grades 11 and 12. It also prepares students from 8th through 11th grade for the College Board PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, and PSAT/NMSQT.

According to the College Board, the SAT Suite of Assessments, which includes the PSAT tests and the SAT, focuses on the knowledge and skills that matter most for college and career readiness and closely resembles what is being taught in the classroom. The three multiple-choice tests that comprise these exams include the Reading Test, Writing and Language Test, and Math Test. All test sections are grade-appropriate but will require students to make complex and sophisticated decisions.

Testing at CEIA happens between 4 and 5 times a year:

Teachers across all subjects, especially Language Arts, Math, and Sciences, actively support this wonderful process that helps our students improve their skills, build confidence, and prepare for their future as international students.
